September 21! Oh my where does the time go!
Greetings Deadwood fans!
Can you believe that we are starting at October next week?! The Deadwood Jam was last weekend, and rain again struck. But the bands were great and the crowd braved the elements and got an awesome show. This past weekend was absolutely beautiful. And our next event OKTOBERFEST is just around the corner.
I’ve also found a new favorite slot machine – Butterfly 7s. I’ve always preferred the machines like this with a few reels with 7s, and it’s a 9 line penny machine so I can’t complain. Most places in town have the machine or one similar. I’ve also been playing 4-card poker, but I can’t say that it’s my new favorite game! It is a lot of fun, though!
Ok, so OKTOBERFEST – want to get a team together for the beer barrel games? Or do you think you have the fastest Wiener Dog around? Call the Chamber 1-800-999-1876 for more information!

We come to Deadwood every summer. Part of how I make it through the school year ( I am a school nurse) is by looking at the webcam several times a day. Why is the webcam not changing scenes like it did before? It is stuck on the same scene for minutes…not a real web cam.
By the way, we have dalmatian pups again!!

Hi Diana: I’d suggest hitting the refresh button to update the picture. We are looking at options of going with a live camera but they are awfully expensive – hopefully someday!
