Hi Pam: The 4th of July is a day of great entertainment in Deadwood and the Black Hills. More specifically, Lead (just a hop, skip and jump from Deadwood) has a parade and festivities for the 4th, and on July 3 is the big fireworks extravaganza at Mount Rushmore. Lots of things happening in the Hills over the 4th!
