We passed thru Deadwood Sunday August 23 & we made it to Saloon #10 in time for the Wild Bill show. What a preformance!! We were throughly impressed with Jay T Rockwell's impression of Wild Bill.
We were able to have pictures taken with him plus we were able to get his autograph, we will treasure them.
3 years ago we went thru Deadwood & we were able to watch that show & we enjoyed it. But, we have to say after watching Jay' T Rockwell's preformance well, he outshone that show 3 years ago.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to see the shootout on Main St. since there was a Show & Shine or whatever you call it all around Deadwood that day.
Hopefully, Jay T. Rockwell will be there when we pass thru Deadwood on our next trip south.

Hi Nancy:
Wild Bill is Jay T. Rockwell. Among other things, he's a horse trainer, and has a stable right in Deadwood that holds his trick horses. Hope that helps, and call us at 800-999-1876 if you'd like more information.

Hi Chris:
You have painted a wonderful picture!

I can not wait to be on Main Street Deadwood on a beautiful Saturday evening, looking up at the surrounding mountains, with a bunch of old friends while waiting for Glen Campbell to launch into his set with a Fat Tire in hand. I will have to watch again one of my favorite old westerns "True Grit" starring John Wayne as Rooster J. Cogburn, U.S. Marshal and Glen Campbell as La Boeuf, Texas Ranger. Certainly a movie fitting Deadwood's storied past.
